Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao are in advanced talks over a money-spinning rematch next May.
The two former pound-for-pound kings met in the richest fight in boxing history back in 2015, when after years of protracted talks Mayweather outpointed his rival in front of a record pay-per-view audience.
Mayweather alone earned around $250million from the fight and ‘Money’ has since retired, hanging up his gloves after beating Conor McGregor last year.

But the two fighters are closing in on another Las Vegas showdown, which Pacquiao has revealed is planned for next year after his fight with Adrien Broner in January.
‘Floyd is going to fight on December 31 and I’m going to fight January 12,’ Pacquiao said. ‘After that, we’ll know… he’s coming back, we’ll discuss it after Broner.
‘If that fight happens, I want Cinco de Mayo (May 5) or July.’
Since the Filipino fighter lost to Mayweather, he has beaten Timothy Bradley, Jessie Vargas and Lucas Matthysse, but also suffered a shock upset in being defeated by Jeff Horn.
The 39-year-old has been touted to face Amir Khan but now looks increasingly likely to go up against Kell Brook next year.

Mayweather has not fought since beating Conor McGregor last August and has been lined up with another UFC fighter who wants to cross codes.
Khabib Nurmagomedov defeated the Irishman in the Octagon this month and called out Mayweather for their own lucrative bout.
Mayweather responded: ‘Oh, we fighting. He called me out. So, he gotta come to my world.
‘I’m my own boss. So, I can’t say what’s going on on Khabib’s end. But, on my end, we can make it happen.
‘When I face Khabib I’m getting a nine-figure payday. It’s more than the McGregor fight. Probably $100million more, guaranteed.
‘I’m going to say somewhere between $110m and $200m guaranteed.’
The fight, however, looks unlikely to happen – especially given the prospect of being lured back into the ring to face his old foe Pacquiao next year.
